The first
time I realized the beauty and power of Phil's voice was the song
"Deep within each man" on David Garfield's "Tribute
to Jeff Porcaro". It's such an amazing song - with incredible
vocals. The next thing was to search the internet. After that I
wondered how many albums I had in my CD Rack on which Phil was singing
lead or background.
Toto, Mr. Mister, Patti Austin, Dave Koz, Lee Ritenour, Boz Scaggs,
Quincy Jones, ... I was surprised by the ammount of his vocal work
for other artists. Then I got in contact with his beautiful wife,
Lyllian. The wish to tell the world about Phil and his work got
stronger and in 2002 I relaunched the first pages.
I know this is not the hippest site, but the pages are done with
